This is a social studies activity that introduces students to the pyramids of Ancient Egypt by having them view a video. Students will be able to gain insight to the culture and religious beliefs of the Ancient Egyptians. It also discusses the reasons why pyramids were built and how they were constructed. By the end of grade 5, students will identify and compare two early civilizations. SOC 5.1.2.8
